Panasonic's inverter provides optimum power control and highly efficient operation by altering the power supply frequency. The result is speedy, flexible operation that uses less electricity. The inverter constantly regulates the compressor rotation speed to provide peak performance at all times. Once the set temperature is achieved, the inverter air conditioner continues to operate with minimum power. The new Panasonic 12,000 BTU YE Series system features a SEER of 20 and EER 10.5 with HSPF of 10.0.
The YE12WKU1 single zone mini split system includes an indoor Wall Unit (CS-YE12WKU1) and the CU-YE12WKU1 outdoor unit. This system offers a cooling and heating capacities of 12,000 BTUs. The YE12WKU1 12000 BTU system will cool a space that is about 400 - 525 sq. ft.
And talk about reliability, with its low ambient heating capability, you will never be too warm or too cold. The inclusion of a new base pan heater allows the YE Series is a great heating option for most of the country and will provide heat when the outside temperatures are as low as -13°F.
Panasonic mini split systems feature an Infrared Wireless Remote with an easy to read LCD Display (standard). For complete automatic control from anywhere in the room, the remote gives the user the ability to adjust and set the temperature, louver control, fan speeds, timer and more. To help ensure comfort levels with regard to both temperature and humidity levels, Panasonic mini splits also feature microprocessor controlled operation. With Automatic Heat and Cool Changeover, once you set your desired temperature and functions, cooling and heating will automatically change in accordance to the set temperature. If the room temperature is higher than your set temperature, the air conditioner will kick on. If the room temperature is lower than your set point, the heat pump will kick on! Other features include: a 5 speed fan - including Quiet Lo/Lo/Med/Hi/Super Hi plus auto, 24 hr program timer, Manual Horizontal Air Deflection, Automatic Vertical Air Deflection and a Washable Air Filter. The YE12WKU1 also includes Built-In System Self Diagnosis, Anti-Microbial Filter and Blue Fin Condenser. All Panasonic Mini Split Systems include Automatic Restart after Power Failure.
This unit must be installed by a qualified, licensed HVAC technician. A standard part warranty is included. You can upgrade to a 5 year labor warranty at the time of purchase.
